CLASSROOM RULES:  The following list includes my expectations for the students.  I wish the best for all of my
students and will try my best to help you succeed!
  1. Respect – For both adults and peers.
  2. Act mature – You are in a high school classroom.
  3. Do your best – Make yourself and those around you proud. 

GRADING POLICY:  Effective for the 2019-2020 school year, common grading for the high school is as follows.
  1. No Extra Credit
  2. Late work will be accepted
    1. No more than 10% deduction of points
    2. No time limit to turn in late work (per semester – per teacher discretion)
  3. No Completion grades equal to points
    1. All grades entered should be corrected assignments.  Credit or check mark for completion only
    2. ALL work must be updated in PowerSchool
  4. Participation and attendance cannot be a part of the grade if you are not assessing the participation
  5. Neatness and effort cannot be a part of a grade
  6. Students are able to retake tests to prove they have learned a concept, even after the class moves on

THINGS TO BRING TO CLASS:  It is important that all students come prepared to learn.  Here is a list of things to
bring to class.

  2. Biology folder
